Against the Turning
A Book of poetry:

My first collection of poems has been published by AWA Press. Many of the poems in the book were written as a divinity school student studying religion and literature. The title comes from a line in the poem “Blake’s Theology.” The book is separated into sections that often explore the unrequited versions of love addressed in C.S. Lewis’ Four Loves. The poems in the collection were carefully ordered within each section to feel like one long poem. My background in religion and literature is evident but the influence of science often seeps into the poems through images and metaphors.
